Mickle's double-double lands him Player of the Week award

30-year old GUY-USAn forward Kevin Mickle (201-F-1993) put on an extraordinary performance in the last round for Deba and receives a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 18.
He had a double-double of 40 points and 14 rebounds, while his team beat Al Taawoun (#12, 0-17), the league's bottom-ranked team 89-79. The game rather meaningless between the teams, which do not have any influence on top of the standings. Deba is placed at 11th position in Saudi Arabian league. Too late to salvage the team, which is currently ranked such low. They already lost 16 games and recorded just one victory. In the team's last game Mickle had a remarkable 66.7% from 2-point range. He turned to be Deba's top player in his first season with the team. Kevin Mickle averages this season 29.2ppg and 13.5rpg.

Second best performed player last round was Josh Nicholas (190-G-1998). He is American-Jamaican guard in his first season at Deba. In the last game Nicholas recorded an impressive double-double of 50 points and 10 rebounds. Bad luck as Deba lost that game 90-136 to the higher-ranked Al Hilal (#4, 14-3). Despite lost game Deba moved up to 11th position in the standings. 16 lost games are too many comparing to just one victory Deba managed to get this year. Nicholas is a newcomer at Deba and quickly became one of team's most reliable players. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 31.3ppg (#2). His other stats are also decent: 6.9rpg and 4.4apg.

Third place about best performers goes to guard Antwan Scott (185-G-1992) of Al Hilal Riyadh (#4). Scott showcased his all-around game by recording 14 points, 5 rebounds and 26 assists (!!!) in the last round. He was a key player of Al Hilal, leading his team to a 136-90 easy win against the lower-ranked Deba (#11, 1-16). Al Hilal is closer and closer to top of the standings. They will still need more victories. But 14-3 record is not that bad... Scott has a great season in Saudi Arabia. After 16 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 23.7ppg (6th best) and assists with 10.1apg (best passer). He also has 2.8spg, a FGP of 53.7% and 3PT: 44.2%.
